1 Shot Lettering Enamels are oil based, high gloss enamels for interior and exterior use on metals, wood and glass; and have been the benchmark in lettering enamels for over 50 years. Excellent flow characteristics, single stroke coverage and vibrant durability are just a few of the reasons 1 Shot Lettering Enamels remain the favorite of pinstripers and sign painters alike. With their infinite color blendabilty and a full line of reducers and hardeners, it's no wonder 1 Shot Lettering Enamels are used by more sign and graphics professionals, than any other brand.
It is always advisable to test this, and all paint products on a scrap "test panel" when using.
LIMITATIONS: Best results, including drying times, will be achieved when temperature is above 65 F Not recommended for use in temperatures below 50 F
APPLICATION: BRUSH, ROLLER, SPRAY or AIRBRUSH
MIXING: Stir thoroughly. Strain prior to spray application.
THINNING: Reduce with 1 Shot Reducers, specifically engineered to be used with 1 Shot Lettering Enamels.
DRYING: Normally dry to the touch in 2 - 5 hours: to handle in 8 - 12 hours. Recoat in 12 - 16 hours.
CLEANUP: Clean application equipment with 1 Shot Brush Conditioner and Cleaner.

Intermixing 1 Shot Lettering Enamels amongst themselves, as well as with 1 Shot Tinting Black (4001), Tinting White (4002) and Super Gloss Tinting Clear (4006) gives you an infinite selection of colors and shades, ranging from fully opaque to translucent and transparent "candy" colors...all within one paint system!

Because of the nature of some paints carrying particles for special effects, we suggest you aggitate the settlement & shake / stir well to thoroughly mix the paints prior to use.

One key to a successful paint program, is to work with materials from within a system. The proper use of 1 Shot Reducers and Hardener in conjunction with our quality paint products, is the first step in acheiving the vibrance and longevity that sign makers, pinstripers and artists have come to expect from 1 Shot.
1 Shot 6000 Reducer, 6001 Low Temp and 6002 High Temp Reducers act as flow enhancers at normal, low and high temperatures, respectively.
These products, engineered for use with 1 Shot and Chromatic products, should always be used, as opposed to mineral spirits, turpentine and other less-than-compatible reducing agents.
1 Shot 4007 Hardener not only accelerates the drying times of 1 Shot Lettering and Pearlescent Enamels and Chromatic Bulletins; but enhances adhesion qualities as well. The use of 4007 Hardener also aids in preventing lifting when automotive clears are used over 1 Shot Lettering Enamels. While greatly reducing the workable pot life of your 1 Shot Enamels, adding up to 20% 4007 Hardener in place of any other reducers, will allow for clear coating withen 12-24 hours.
NOTE: As with all custom paint procedures, test panels should be utilized, and the first two coats of clear should be applied very dry.
Replace cap tightly after use, to prevent crystallization.
